Email/Outlook Locally on PC

 

Open ‘Control Panel’ (Start > Control Panel)

Choose the Mail icon (you may need to change the view to Large or Small Icons)

 

Click Show Profiles

 

 in the window that appears, click Add.

 

 

On the New Profile window, add your email address and click OK

A new window will open saying Connect Outlook to Office 365. Click on Connect

 

It will ask for Server and username. Server is exchsvr3.virsagets.loc, and the username is usually your first initial and last name  (Jsmith).  Click on Select More Settings.

 

Go to the Connection tab

Check “Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP” and then click Exchange Proxy Settings

 

Where it says https:// enter mail.virsageworkplace.com

On the drop down at the bottom, choose Basic Authentication, then click OK

Click Apply and OK to move back to the Add Account window

Click Check Name next to your username. A credentials box will pop up

 

 

Enter virsagets\username in the username field, and the password provided to you. Then click OK.

After a moment, the username on the Add Account screen should become underlined. Click Next, then Finish.

 

 

You may now launch Outlook. Your email should be configured.
