Printing Trouble In the Citrix Desktop

When you log into the Citrix desktop, all of your local Windows printers should be automatically available to you for printing. Sometimes this can result in challenges if a print job is stuck on the local computer or if the printer is having issues. Here are some quick steps you can take to resolve these issues.

  1. Turn the printer off and back on, note if there are any error lights on the printer. If you suspect any issues with the printer, it's best practice to completely remove the paper and toner, then reseat the paper tray and toner or ink cartridges.
  2. Log out of the Citrix Desktop by clicking on the Windows Start button (inside the Citrix desktop) and selecting Log Off.
  3. Reboot your local computer by clicking on the Windows Start button (outside the Citrix desktop) and selecting Shutdown and Restart.
  4. Log back in to your Citrix desktop and try printing again.
